friday student social
We just don't think we'll get enough of you at Art Weekend -SLC, so we are hosting a student social on friday night from 7-8:30pm! There will be lots of Smart Cookies, AMAZING door prizes and a chance for everyone to work on their Art Weekend projects --and get some help from some of the teachers. Do I hear a short film and popcorn? That might be in the works too.

meet holly!
I am so excited to be taking this DIY foral arranging class with Holly Fowler at Art Weekend-SLC. It is the perfect way to learn simple tabletop flower arrangements and boutonnieres. You'll be taking ordinary grocery bouquets and turn them into beautiful arrangements. This is an excellent and economical way to bring color and life into your home. This class is offered at ART WEEKEND -SLC. Thursday, November 5th from 9:00 am - 10:50 am. There is a $15 materials fee due at class and you WILL be going home with your arrangement! featured teacher: cindy ferguson
over the next couple weeks i'm going to feature some of our SLC Art Weekend teachers -because if you haven't already been introduced to their work, you should!
first up, cindy ferguson -master paper cutter. her work is so intricate and beautiful -i'd love to own them all. i'm particularly excited that she will be teaching a papercutting (scherenschnitte) class at my SLC Art Weekend because i've always wanted to learn. sign-ups here!
